Welcome to Accountieons (“Accountieons”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) form a legally binding agreement between you (“you”, “your”, or the “Customer”) and Accountieons and govern your use of our websites, web applications, mobile applications, and related services (together, the “Service”).

By creating an account, starting a free trial, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Acceptance of these Terms

By accessing or using the Service you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and our Privacy Policy and Refund & Cancellation Policy, which are incorporated into these Terms by reference. If you are using the Service on behalf of a business or other legal entity, you represent that you are authorised to bind that entity to these Terms.

2. The Service

Accountieons is an online accounting, invoicing, GST, banking, inventory and business-management platform designed for businesses in India. We may add, modify, or discontinue features from time to time to improve the Service. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of material changes that affect how you use the Service.

3. Accounts & eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use the Service.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep it updated.
• Notify us immediately at hello@accountieons.com if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account.

4. Free trial & subscriptions

We offer a 14-day free trial so you can evaluate the Service before you pay. No payment is required to begin the trial. At the end of the trial you may choose a paid subscription plan to continue using the Service.

Paid subscriptions renew automatically for the billing period you select (for example, monthly or annually) until cancelled. You may cancel at any time from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

5. Payment & billing

• Subscription fees are billed in advance and are stated exclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise noted. Applicable GST will be added where required.
• Payments are processed by third-party payment gateways; by paying you also agree to their terms.
• Because we provide a 14-day free trial to evaluate the Service, fees paid are non-refundable. Please review our Refund & Cancellation Policy for details.
• If a payment fails or is overdue, we may suspend or downgrade your account after reasonable notice.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or infringing purpose;
• upload malicious code or attempt to disrupt, probe, or gain unauthorised access to the Service or its infrastructure;
• reverse-engineer, resell, or sublicense the Service except as permitted by law;
• use the Service to store or transmit content that violates the rights of others; or
• use the Service in a way that overburdens or impairs its performance for other customers.

7. Your data

You retain ownership of all data you enter into or upload to the Service (“Customer Data”). You grant us a limited licence to host, process, and display Customer Data solely to provide and support the Service. We handle Customer Data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of Customer Data and for maintaining your own backups where appropriate.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, trademarks, and content (excluding Customer Data), is owned by Accountieons and protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service; no other rights are granted.

9. Third-party services

The Service may integrate with third-party products such as payment gateways, banks, messaging providers, and government portals. We are not responsible for third-party services and your use of them is governed by their own terms.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. While we work hard to keep the Service accurate and reliable, Accountieons is a software tool and does not constitute professional accounting, tax, legal, or financial advice. You are responsible for verifying your books, filings, and compliance, and should consult a qualified professional where needed.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Accountieons shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

12. Suspension & termination

You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, fail to pay fees, or if required by law. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends. We may retain or delete Customer Data as described in our Privacy Policy and applicable law.

13. Governing law & jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to any applicable law, the courts at Surat, Gujarat shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
